Art & Health, Community Engagement, Classes, & Presentations
I’ve been studying the biological, psychological, spiritual and social benefits of the creative process for a few decades. It’s been a pleasure to see how creative modalities in clinical and community settings make it easier for people to give voice to pain, for which there sometimes are just no words. Creativity relieves stress and can make meaning out of seemingly senseless situations. Making stuff also increases dopamine and fires up your immune system!

Classes run for 7 weeks for 1.5 hours at 6pm on weeknights. An art print will be made of the participant’s final piece and is included in the registration fee.
