Abstract collage paintings begin in the garden- a treasure trove of sticks, floppy old foliage and pine cones. These natural materials are used to make initial marks with acrylic ink. Texture is created using layers of thin acrylic  washes and journal clippings. Organic handmade lines combined with graphic elements express the reality of living in the city while needing regular escapes to the beaches, lakes and fields.
