Figures in Scapes is the culmination of decades of  experimenting with illustration, painting, photography, sculpture and collage, . I’m drawn to old things, inspired by what’s on the walls of abaondoned houses in Nova Scotia and by people’s stories. The figures are contempletive but purposeful, inhabiting wild places expressed with vintage wallpaper collage, heavily textured substrates and clearly defined forms.
